WOW!

I think we have a winner!

HeliStoner has set the new standard for what a heli should look like.
I really like your floating antenna mounts.

I'm also interested to know what exactly you did with the tail pushrod.

Michael, can I send you my Aurora in Austria so you can fix mine up like yours?

hello,

here you can see pics from my Aurora-building report.

[url=http://www.rc-heli.de/board/showthread.php?t=73232]

@ Dood, thanks!

my original cfk-pushrod, more exactly said the front one, was a little bit too short. Therefore i used robbe 6mm pushrods with
aluminum end pieces. (robbe S1056)
Now it pleases me anyway better.

"Sorry for the long answer time,I have to learn still much englisch"

For anyone who remembers my awful blue & orange servo wire sleeving, the good news is, It's all gone now. Finally.

I've got a nice modest black now. Already an improvement.
The Aurora is completely gutted, and that makes dressing the wires easy.

I've got the problem of trying to mount a Fromeco Arizona and a 611.
One of the two needs to get mounted under the battery tray, and it's not going to be the 611.

I'm trying to find a way to run the sensor wire all the up to the 611 box, and make it look good at the same time.

Then I've got to put my RevMax back on. I would like the RevMax 10 times better if they put the connectors on the side instead of the front of it.

Still working on it.

Here is the before

Here's where I'm at right now.

Finally finished!!

Doesn't look too bad now, does it?
Single biggest improvement other than the black servo wire sleeving is the absence of the Fromeco pin-flag switch.

I have a a standard switch (I modified it for use with the Arizona reg) mounted in the normal spot.

(Note to self: NEVER buy orange or blue braided servo sleeving!)

This is as tidy as I can get it..

I might reduce the battery leads later on, I saw in interesting idea the other day where a guy had simply joined all the leads to one common connector, at this time its all about hovering and breaking in...

My Aurora No. 2

The Spektrum AR7100R really reduces the number of Wires.

Had to mount the sensor on the side due to new back plate of the YS91SR3C-RR.
