After training two camera operators, I find that I can simply lock the Pro 1 in the forward position and angle the camera slightly down and doo the bulk of the shooting very successfully on my own. The flyover stuff, still footage, very slow panning - which form the bulk of the shots can be done fine this way. I just do a few of the same angle and select the best for the final cut. Of course for the specialised shots that require full pan and tilt I have to round up the camera operator - but for the most part, I can get by without him.

Anyone else use the GSR / Pro 1 as a solo rig?
