For Sale: Airtronics Stylus transmitter with additional accessories. You will receive:

* Stylus transmitter, 2 seasons old (purchased beginning of 2006 season)
* Two (2) Airtronics 92186Z PCM receivers
* Most current edition of Stylus Advanced Heli Card (purple label)
* Airtronics neckstrap
* Original Sylus manual and Advanced Heli Card manual
* Airtronics wall wart charger
* Padded hard shell transmitter case

Both 92186 receivers were sent to Airtronics at beginning of 2007 season for a general checkup, and both reeived a clean bill of health. One receiver has a Revolution base-loaded antenna installed. The other receiver has the antenna trimmed to the correct length, but no base-loaded antenna attached (this was to be my backup receiver in case of emergency). The receiver with the base-loaded antenna was used in my contest machine during the 2007 season (the Raptor 90SE that I recently sold), and was never crashed or damaged. All equipment works reliably.

The transmitter has been initialized, so all my setup information for my machines has been erased. It's ready for you to do setup of your machines.

For those of you who have been following the Jkos thread in the Runryder radio forum about radio latency, you'll know that the Stylus is still among the best performing radios in the market, superior in some aspects to even the newest offerings from Futaba. The Stylus has very powerful CCPM programming, and the swashplate tracking performance is the equal or superior to virtually any system on the market. Airtronics was making CCPM swashplates go straight up and down 10 years before anyone knew that they wanted it.

Airtronics has also announced that a new 2.4GHz module specifically for the Stylus is scheduled for release during the 2008 season, so those of you who want a 2.4 system will be able to benefit from the Stylus' advanced features, or you can continue to use the 72MHz receivers in the knowledge that you have what is arguably still the fastest radio link on the market.

Price is $400 plus shipping and insurance to anywhere in the United States (amount to be determined at time of shipping). Paypal, personal check, and money order accepted (personal checks must clear my account before I'll ship). As with the sale of my Raptor, your transmitter and accessories will be lovingly wrapped in the finest packing materials by young island girls with smooth skin and dark, flowing hair. Holy water christening is not available for this sale, though, as it's generally bad form to spray water on a transmitter. For an additional fee, I can have a ritual Blessing of the Transmitter ceremony performed by a local priest, minister, or rabbi of your choosing.

The 92186 receivers alone cost roughly $135 new, so for not much over the cost of two new receivers, you're getting the Stylus transmitter, heli card, Tx case, neckstrap, manuals, and charger. This is a good buy!

PM if interested. Paypal, personal check, cashiers check, or money order accepted. Personal checks will need to clear my account before I ship.

Price dropped to $400 plus shipping for the whole collection. That's $400 for a top-shelf Tx (as fast or faster than anything on the market, and with more features than mid-level radios like the 9303), two PCM receivers, neck strap, manuals, and hard shell case. You're not going to find a better deal on a pro-level radio!

These are incredible radios. With 2.4 gHz modules coming from Airtronics in the near future, these will again be in demand. Why? $1200 worth of swash control for $400 isn't something you see every day.

Someone oughta snap this up! Heluva deal!

Bump. I can't believe that noone is interested in $1200+ worth of pro-level radio for only $400!

Do a little research on the Stylus, and you'll see that even now, it's the equal or superior to anything else on the market in terms of swash tracking, compensation mixes, and other pro-level features. It's even a faster radio link than the mighty Futaba 14MZ on the maximum latency end.

Airtronics was making CCPM swashplates go straight up and down a decade before anyone knew they needed it. The Stylus is still one of the most capable radios in the world, is still fully supported by Airtronics, and there's going to be a 2.4GHz module coming for it in 2008! 8-channel 2.4GHz receivers from Airtronics are only $80... compare that with other brands!

$400 for this whole package is a heck of a deal!

A better radio? Hell yes! Straight from the diligent, unbiased bench-testing brain of none other than John Kos himself.

Bump.

Remember, folks, this is a pro-level radio. When the 2.4 modules are released from Airtronics, these radios are going to be in demand because not only will they be 2.4GHz, but this radio has programming ability greater than nearly anything on the market, even the newest offerings from "Brand F" and "Brand J".

Do your research, and you'll see that the Stylus is every bit the equal of any high-end radio on the market, and this is your chance to get one with extras for only $400!
