Take the battery out, then remove the 6 screws from the back of the TX. the back comes off and the fuse is right inside.

What charger did you use? People with Futaba gear run into trouble because the charger is opposite polarity. Same with Triton and Accucycle users that have Futaba charge leads.

The fuse is a 250v 3amp standard fuse, we would buy them at Radio Shack here in the US, about 5 dollars for a 4 pack.

Also even if you use the right polarity, using an aftermarket charger that charges over 300mah or so will fry the fuse.

Pull the back, remove the 4 screws holding up the board behind the switch and the fuse will be right there. Its easier to get to with that pcb removed.

check your polrity. i think you connected the +/- the wrong way round.

its only a 3amp glass fuse you need to change that sits behind the power switch of the DX7

yes i have done it myself..

very simple to do

Had the same blank screen fault with mine when i first charged it, turned out that i had the polarity reversed.

I cut and re-soldered the charger wires then re-charged it again after which it worked fine, did not have to change any fuses.

One more thing... I dont know if it turned on before you charged it, but when mine was new it would not take a charge either. What it ended up being was the battery wires had been pinched somehow and the positive ended up being cut.

Lets say I was a little upset with that being brand new. Anyway...just a thought...
