hello all

i just got the blade and i charged the batt a total of one time. everything was fine. today i flew the blade for a few minutes. noticed i had to replace the tail blades so i put the batt on the charger while i replaced the blades. took it off the charger"wasnt fully charged yet" and flew it till the blade starting loseing power wich was a few minutes of flight. came home and started charging the batt for tomorrow. it was on for over an hour and a half and the lights stayed solid green and red. had to go to a buddies house so i took it off the charger since it was on my car battery. came home and put it back on. its been over a half hour and its still charging. whats wrong? nothing? i thought may be i didnt have the clips on the car batt well the first time but the lights was on. seems like its been on way too long for nothing to be wrong. no swelling or heat on the batt i might add.

thanks for any advise

full throttle... i'll figure it out from there

mine charges for like an hour to hour and a half, the first charge is short because the battery is pretty much charged from the factory just let it set till all the lights are red and good to go

its been on now a total of about 2 and a half hours. lights still green and red. looks like i may have to get a new charger and or batt. tomorrow i will put it in the blade and see if it even took a charge. for now im leaving it on and hoping for three more solid reds

use a voltmeter and check the input voltage as well as the output voltage.

i don't even know for sure what the output should be! never paid attention to my charger. it should be somewhere in the 12's. the input should be around 13V, hopefully more.

you charger may have a warranty. you may want to contact eflite.

also check the voltage of your pack just AFTER you take it off the charger. A 3S if between 12.45 and 12.6 when fully charged.

let us know what the charger voltages are as well as the battery voltage.

Ours at the hobby shop I work at does the same thing as yours. The lights stay green even after 2-3 hours charging time. The battery is always fully charged when we check them with a volt meter. Chuck
