Any suggestions for the placement of this stuff on the GSR? I have been fiddling around trying to fit the new "2 piece" 611 and come up with the following. Whilst this should work OK, I'm sure that there's a better layout to use.

I was wondering what you were going to do with that 611...looks good to me.. I see the sensor is in the area where the gyro should be per JR's instructions...

just a thought , but could you mount the 611 body under the electronics tray?... actually that might be to close to the engine coil though.. hmm..

have you spun it up yet?

One thing I have thought about is.. I have to turn my gain up pretty high to get the tail to hold.. higher than I would like (especially with the dreaded 401/9254 combo!) but.. If the gyro was moved out to the end of the tray (swap positions with the rx) I think the gain could be lowered because the gyro movement would be more pronounced in relation to the center axis of rotation/movement. For the same heli movement the gyro would move more, therefore lower gain needed. But doing that also, would change the frequency of vibration to the gyro because of the distance from the vibration source... maybe it could help in some cases, maybe not in others.

Has anyone done this? just a thought.
