yup. go for it. just take your time and setup the revolution mix properly. they normally call it tail curve on jr and revolution mix on futaba.

If it is a dual rate gyro, why would you need revo mixing in HH
mode??

heading hold and dual rate is not the same thing. Dual rate is a step up from rate mode. but still obsolete compare to heading hold.

in regular rate mode, the gyro just to dampen the rudder so it is not so sensitive to control. but you would also need to setup revolution mix to compensate for the change in loading from the main rotor.

a heading hold, well... i don't know technical specification how a heading hold gyro works beside that you shouldn't setup revolution mix to use it. revolution mix is also called tail curve or throttle to rudder mix.
