The YS61 in my ProII is leaking fuel like a cow peeing on a flat rock. so much so that the canopy had more fuel than the carb did. All of the fuel lines have been replaced and I have previously taken the regulator assembly off and removed that gasket, taken out the carb screws and removed the carb and its gasket. everything seemed fine there werent any dings in the plastic parts or tears in the gaskets. everything was cleaned and re-assembled. it still leaks. long story short, new gaskets are on order from Rons and new O rings for the mixture screws.
-question- when I go to reassemble it do I need any gasket sealer or just put it together dry and clean?

Maybe I need that new OS70. hmmmm

Thanks
Charlie

I thought my 91 was leaking too but it was coming from where the muffler meets the motor. I sealed that up and now it's fine. I'd say get it nice and clean and then isolate where the leak is coming from. Myabe the motor is too rich and thta is causing the trouble.

also check the tank, it may not leak static, put it under pressure and check.

thanks, its coming from high in the engine, around the carb area. It leaks while under pressure, running or not. normally i wouldnt care all that much but the quantity of fuel leaking is concerning. it was dripping so much my 10 minute flight ran out of fuel in 7 minutes and there was alot of raw fuel in the canopy. hopefully the gaskets and the o rings fix it.
