Hi guys,

My friend here is selling his JR DS-821 servos (4 of them)..

Are they Ok for King 2?.. I have a stock Tx. But soon I'll switch to Futaba Tx & a GY240 gyro.

My stock tail servo died. so I'll have to change it anyways... Seems to me a good deal if they fit...

Uh yeah those would be full size servos and would only be useful on a Rex500 or larger.

You see comments on RR a lot about the 821 which come with the JR X9303 TX
Most advise is that the 821's are a POS and if possible you should get the TX separately and not with the 821's or get the kit and off-load the 821's to some unsuspecting sucker.

Why is the guy you know selling them ?

As far as I know he got JR Tx & servos came with the Tx as a package, he already bought other (Futaba) servos..

By the way.. Do these servos (S3114 & S3154) work with Stock Tx?

I can't answer that one as I do not have those servos but you should make sure you know before ordering. If they work in reverse as do the HiTech Servos you need to reverse the swash mix (NOT the rev switch on TX) to get it all working correctly. You do not have a swash mix function on the stock TX.

IF TJ says they move opposite then yes you will need a new TX, but also if you are using the standard Esky 3in1 you will also need a new RX. The Std RX cannot be used with a comp tx even if you change the crystals. As you are getting a new RX you will also need a new ESC and Gyro unless you can find a 3in1 that allows the crystals to work.

Unless you feel that flying RC Heli's is a passing fad you are going through, you are going to upgrade to a computer TX at sometime anyway.

What gyro servo do you guys suggest for the stock Tx to keep me goin while I gather my funds to move the next level?

Seems that stock servo is out since new digital 7.5g servo is coming now...

Can you check these links & advise?

For gyro:

You are using the standard Esky 3in1 RX/ESC/Gyro Correct?

You want to bypass the built in 3in1 Gyro and use the Fut GY240 instead, Correct?

Sorry, Had a brain fart, was helping a buddy with his 3:1 at the same time and got your heli and his mixed up in my head.
No wonder I couldn't figure what you were trying to do.
So basically forget all my posts because they relate to my buddy's Fixed Pitch
