Jaymac26 rrApprentice Okotoks, Alberta - Canada | It is a 9003 72 fm Module. My jumper wires did not have the key on them. I shaved the plastic connectors a bit and now they fit. I am new to setting heli's up but have been flying the last couple of years. The AP2000i is my work project today!!Jason McKay

Jaymac26 rrApprentice Okotoks, Alberta - Canada | I have been reading it and getting close I think. I have not heard from mark in the last few days. I am new to setup but have been flying for the past few years. Here is the email Mark sent me.Sure looks like a 120 to me. That would be swashplate type SR-3 in the AP2000i and swashplate type s-1 in your tx, of course. The servo that connects to the front link is going to be designated as Servo1. Servo 2 is on the R/H side and Servo3 on the L/h side.Is the right hand side facing the heli or behind it. I am not sure if it is port side or not? Thanks for your info.Jason McKay

Seablade rrKey Veteran earth | Here's some more info on setting up the 9303 with the AP2000i.
AP2000i gain (sensitivity) & calibration set up for a JR 9303 transmitter on a Maxi-Joker 2The gear switch is used to turn the GY401 heading hold function on and off. The AUX2 switch is used in conjunction with the right slider lever (AUX3) to control the AP2000i.The way it works is as follows:

Autoeject rrKey Veteran Ashtabula, OH, USA | Sorry I've been unavailable by internet. The ice storm on tue/wed wiped out much of our area's power/internet service. Just got power back at 3pm today but I'm having to use a wireless card for internet service. And, it's not such a good connection.Sounds like you've got your wire issue solved. I used to have a JR rx on my Trex600 and didn't have any problem with the jumperwires so I'm not sure what is going on with your rx.If you need any other assistance and I don't get to your posts/emails quickly enough, please feel free to give me a call. #'s on our site.Mark Webber

BigguyOz rrKey Veteran Forster, New South Wales, Australia | Jason, to avoid left/right side confusion, connect the front one, and then connect the others so their relationship to the front one is exactly the same as in the diagram in the instructions (think clockwise/anticlockwise). But as well, it is normal to designate the right side as being the one on the right when looking from the rear of the heli.Tony Stott

Autoeject rrKey Veteran Ashtabula, OH, USA | Sorry, yes...always reference as though you were in the pilots seat.Though, it really is of little consequence which servo is 2 or 3. Servo #1 is critical in the SR-3 configuration, however.Mark Webber

Jaymac26 rrApprentice Okotoks, Alberta - Canada | Thanks for everyone's help.I did look at the diagram and got it to work. I have all the servos working properly. I used Aux3 for the gain and have it reading (off) on the low and 96% on the high end. I have the swashplate level by eye and have it very close. I will read the manual tonight to make sure the AP2000i is setup. Is there anyother things I should look at? I also wanted to make sure if the AP2000i is reading off, I can fly the heli just like before with no problems..correct? Thanks again.Jason McKay

BigguyOz rrKey Veteran Forster, New South Wales, Australia | Jason, I can thoroughly recommend setting up your AP just like Keith did. In practice it works beautifully, with the flap switch providing 3 ranges, with the right slider offering incremental adjustment within each range. It is very intuitive when using it in flight, and Keith's instructions were easy to follow.Tony Stott

Autoeject rrKey Veteran Ashtabula, OH, USA | Jason,As long as everything is performing as expected, you should be ready to fly. With the stabilization reading OFF, you can expect your heli to fly just as it did before.Prior to your first flight, I'd just suggest following along with the preflight suggestions included with the Quickstart guide.Mark Webber

Jaymac26 rrApprentice Okotoks, Alberta - Canada | On spool up the swash plate was very glitchy. There was no gain on and the swash plate was up and down and left and right. It seemed to only happen when the engine was on. I then turned off the sensor to make sure that was not the problem. Same thing was happening. I made sure the wires were all connected right. When I wiggled a few wire I noticed it was doing it again. I am going to look at the manual and see if I missed a setting. I hope someone knows what I am talking about. Thanks. One thing to add was it also read G99 for I think 99 glitches.
