Hi Paul
Good to see you today briefly.
Here is the video with a slide show of the work you have done.
I am sure a lot will agree the work is top notch, i know it is well above anything I could achieve.

The accuracy to the full size is amazing, I know it is a work in progress, but i would recommend you bring it along to the Eynford fly in in a couple of weeks, last year they did an award for the best work in progress.

Watch at YouTube

See yer soon Matey

Hi Paul,

That really does look superb Buddy, can't wait to see her close up, painted and flying. You really have gone to town on the detail and the 145 you have done has so much texture/detail to copy, it was an excellent choice.
This is truly a credit to you Paul and I look forward to meeeting up next year.

All the best

Darren

Hi Paul,

Nice to hear she's almost there, I'll look forward to seeing it this year. You just have to put a scale looking head on that, otherwise what was the point of all the detail and accuracy! Can't wait to see it finished Buddy

hi darren

yes you are right about the head but i cant decide what type ie vario 2 bolt or vario single bolt, then there is the OF heads and blades which iv heard are more stable so at present its a mind game, also will i need stabilisation system iv been reading that there has been problems with them due to noise from the turbine as in high freq noise ect,i know you used helicommand have you had any problems with that system as thats the one i was going for but iv also been looking at the ace system but thats a lots of money

anyway i hope to have it at the fly ins this year weather it is flying or not i think people might want to see it even if its not upto flying state

best regards paul

Hi Paul

You have plenty of time to have her flying this year, don't dissapoint your drooling followers!!!
I have used the Helicommand and like it and I understand any interference with these stab units is with the twin stage turbines isn't it?
Regarding heads, I'm of the belief that the OF flies really well, but it honestly is not scale enough for your level of machine (IMHO)so I think you need to consider Vario or some other. I have only flown the 2 bolt so can't comment on performance, but having had a minor mishap I was grateful that the 2 bolt blades can't fold into the fuse if you lose a link! Worth a consideration maybe?
Good luck with your choice let us know what you do.
Cheers
Darren

after months of waiting i got the cine scale radome for the ec145 you could have brought a fuz for a raptor the amount this cost so i thought it would fit like a glove, well how wrong i was the fit was very bad i had to heat the faring up to make it fit the front of the heli and this then made the radome not fit very well iv got it to the best its going to be and im not happy with it,i sent e-mail to cine scale about this but got no reply as yet,the most expensive scale part iv brought and the most waste of money, still the build gos on iv also been doing the cockpit area to.

hi guys quick update, been working on the flooring in the cockpit and scaleling up the seats with belts ect.

also now got the radome to fit after many hours of heating the faring to fit the front of the heli and filling and sanding to make the dome fit.

also iv painted the tail blades to as full scale the blades are
M-BLADES and i have made sure they are balanced.

it dont seem i will ever get to the end of this project so its up for sale to any serious offers comes with everything except rotor head and blades
