Outstanding heli. Very versatile. It can be set up mechanically for a novice, or an expert wanting to do hard 3D. I love mine so much that I am trying to talk two people at work into one. As a fairly new pilot still learning, I really feel I have tons of room to grow with this one heli. I just wish it had been the first one I bought so I didn't spend so much on my other 3 helis.....

Hey Brian,

It's Marty. If you are interested in the Pantera you should stop over. I think I told you I'd been flying them? I have two of them assembled. My favorite of the 9 helis I own right now is the Pantera 50. I'm waiting for a gyro to fly my new Pantera 61. I just bought a 3rd Pantera kit which is probably going to be an OS 70 powered version. Hey you still have the repaired Venture? Are you just looking ahead or is the Venture dead? If you are thinking about a first 50 size heli, this is a really good one.

He can still go to John to buy the grips from the Tiger Mark I to fix the crazy tracking problem that he is going to get on the Venture 30

He already has/had a Venture 30. I set it up for him and had it hovering sometime back around Thanksgiving. He took it home and tried to fly on his own. I forget what he said failed. Anyway, it crashed. I think he fixed it and I just saw from some RR posts that he must have bought this other Venture 30 that was advertised. Not a terrible idea, just not a great heli.

MartyH!!

The only problem that I found with the Venture 30 CP was the tracking of the blades, and I fixed by replacing the feathering shaft, the bearing and the grips for the Tiger. It tracks really well and it has a very solid hover for a .30

It is a nice heli to learn all the basic, but if you want to do more and progress a little bit faster then the Pantera 50.

i fitted a pantera head on my venture 30
i have to rotate the wash out slider 180 degree the seesaw and the fly bar cage were assemble upside down i now have a positive input
(the pitch input is from the leading edge)

i did not fly it yet but i can tell you that the slop is gone
i hope it solved the tracking issue
