A buddy and I were flying our Freyas today and decided to throw on a set of V-blades. The new blades caused a severely unbalanced pitch curve. The heli climbed out equally well upright and inverted without bogging until we put on the V-blades. Then, the heli exhibited major negative pitch range on the low end and had 1/2 the climb rate or worse rightside up. The pitch change was too much to program out at the field. Bench work and servo arm changes were in order, so off came the V's.

Does anyone else every experience this?

I wonder if the new V2's will be the same way.

Tyler, not all blade manufacture's make the blades 0-0...that is to say; the root end of the blade (in the grip) is at the same angle as the blade itself. Some blades are made as much as 2 degrees off of the 0-0 point! As a rule, most good CF blades like the V's and NHP's ARE 0-0...maybe the blades you removed aren't???

It's easy enough to fix, slap on a pitch gauge and re-set your 0 point with the new blades...count the turns of the link and duplicate it on the other side.
Hope this helps... Chris
