Effective immediately, the new address is:

Miniature Aircraft USA
31713 Long Acres Drive
Sorrento, FL 32776

New Phone - 352-383-3201
New FAX - 352-383-3204

If you've already sent something in for repair, mail forwards are in place so they will still get it, however anything sent from this point forward should be sent to the new address.

Is the re-setup of the new location going to effect turn arround for repairs? I only ask because I just sent my clutch stack in to be upgraded yesterday, (to the old address) and am wondering if it is going to take half a year to get it back. Of course due to the labor involved in getting the new location ready for business as usual. Any help or advice is welcomed in this situation.

Build it, fly it, crash it. Repeat as often as needed.

They'll should be taking orders again tomorrow and probably be packing kits again no later than Tuesday. I'd imagine the mail forward will add more days than anything else.

Thanks. I hope all goes well with the new place. And I look forward to not having to worry about the clutch stack anymore.

Good. Now perhaps Bob can get around to making those gear box covers he owes several of us...

DavidH,
No it wasn't bad. But I recently had a major bout will terra firma. And needless to say I lost. So I figured while the machine is down anyway, I might as well just send it in for the update. Make sense? Since all of this crap about them having problems with the old design, I have kind of had a thorn in my paw about it. And I figured I might as well eliminate the worry via the upgrade. Its not like I can fly it right now anyway. So that is why I did it. I know they don't all fail. But I just wanted the piece of mind.

Steve,
What gearbox covers are you reffering to? Just curious.

For the scale Jet Ranger fuse kit. One half of the tail box is covered by the rear part of the tail boom cover. The other half is covered by a small, separate piece that is fitted.

That separate piece was not in the the recent lay-ups of this kit.

Peace of mind

Peace of mind is the major key word here.....

I just lost my Fury, due to the T/T failure, I was pirueting flip low on deck and then snap.... the tail was gone. I crash them pretty good. Now i'm afread to fly unless i know for sure the T/T problem has been fixed for good.

bigdude,
I gave what I consider a good idea in the thread about the TT failures. Check it out and let me know what you think.
