My previously reliable TT 50 in my Raptor 50 V1 has started cutting in the air. It doesn't slow down, go lean or show any sign of distress, just stops dead. Last weekend I had two flights of about 2½ mins each, both ended in unplanned autos. Today I had one flight that lasted 1 min, so changed the plug and managed about 6 mins before the engine cut suddenly in a fast circuit. At least my autos are getting better

Since getting home I have removed and cleaned the carb (seemed OK´, and the tank and plumbing. The clunk line inside the tank was very soft and stretchy, not at all like regular fuel tubing. I have replaced it and hope that was the culprit, but any other ideas before I waste another good flying day? I can't count on a good auto every time!

I had the same thing happen with my Raptor and my Freya. It turned out to be the clunk line in both cases, but I also found that the pressure fitting was slightly clogged.
While you are reading, do you happen to know what the initial needle settings should be for the TT50?

Sounds just the same as happened to a mate of mine.Took the carb apart,found small ball of crap.Problem over

My carb was clean as a whistle...

'Fraid I have no idea of the needles settings, just would it in until it was right! The manual says 3turns out for the main and that's where I'll be starting tomorrow.
