I seem to have a little back/forth movement (very little, like 1/2 teeth worth) on my main gear (not vertical) if I would hold the rotor head....would this be causing me any problems?
Several weeks ago, I had a TT50 in my R50 and it seemed to be leaning out, causing a 'wavering' sound and tail would go back and forth a few degrees....so now, I have a brand new OS50 (love it) and although I only ran 3 tanks through it and am real rich, I still get that 'wavering' sound and the tail still jerks a few degrees, although not as much as w/ my TT50. Almost sounds like mini-wah-wahs...this happens in a hover without any major power changes.
I do have Rick's driven tail unit on. I haven't pulled the gear yet, but would this be because I am still running real rich, or possibly a bearing going out? I will pull it out tonight when I get home, but wanted to get some input for you guys. I talked to a Larry from Heliproz yesterday (that's where I got my engine) about this and he thought it was just because it is running real rich and it is "four-stroking" and will go away as I am leaning it out.
Thanks alot for any help.
