Does anybody know what it means if the power led (not the alarm led) goes off for about 1 second. This happens totally at random as far as I can see and does not seem to affect the functions of the transmitter as it also happens during flight.

Thanks, Tim

It is not random, it happens in specific time intervals when the TX sends the failsafe positions for each channel. This only takes 112msec but the led stays off for a bit longer.

Thanks, so this is normal behavior? Why does it tell me (the user) it is sending the fail safe positions, is there a specific situation where I need to know when this happens?

Yes it is normal. No real need for you to know, but was possibly useful for the 9Z software developers. When they finished they just left it there. There is a reference somewhere in the manual saying that the led blinks during data transfer but no other details.

Yes, I recal reading something like that, I assumed it refered to data communication with another 9Z through a cable.
