Please vote and let me know if you would be interested in purchasing this fuse! It will sell for $300 painted in desert camo or mountain camo or $250 unpainted!

The fuse is 53 inches long and is made from fiberglass. It's machine gun can be rotated via a servo! This fuse is designed so you just drop in your mechanics and bolt them down you do not need to build or modify anything! This fuse looks 95% scale due to it not having a 45-degree tail gearbox it uses the existing gearbox and boom! The tail rotor output shaft will exit the fuse at the bend verses being located at the top of the vertical fin.

Sorry I do not have photos however, this fuse is very nice!

Thanks for your time!

Ok guys,

Does anybody knows him?

Do you think he's monitoring this?

All I know is that his name might be Matt.

If you know him talk to him, and if this didn't work out then somebody say something.

Sorry guys not enough interest was shown when I ran the two surveys here on RR so we will not be producing the fuse. The prototype was really nice and around 95% scale with a movable gun turret.

pretty sadd

I couldnt agree more with all of the other guys on this. I would love a fuselage like the one you are talking about. As soon as I saw the poll I looked at what you had to say but when I saw there was no pic I moved on. I do not think it is fair of you to ask for an opinion of people based on an extremely vague description and then get upset when people ask for a picture. Your fuselage could look like crap and based on blind yeses you produce them and then they bomb. That would not be fair to you. And besides your response to the natural inclination of people shows me that you are not a person to deal with. I hope that you find a more appealing site somewhere else.

Ace,

Please understand that this fuse does not belong to me it belongs to my brother so I did not have permission to take photos. At the time I did the surveys the fuse was not patented and if shown the fuse an individual may steal the idea on how we were able to fit it to the mechanics.

Secondly the fuse is actually really nice and I am mad at him for not producing it!!!

If anything changes in the future with the fuse I will get photos before I post.

I was just trying to find out if there was any interest. Personally I do not need to see photos to be interested in something. I was just trying to get an idea if people were into the idea of using the Raptor mechanics for scale.

In 3 months there were less than 60 people interested in this canopy between the two surveys.

Why is everyone so interested in this now????

Dave, all I can say is my reply was inappropriate so I just edited it down. You draw your own conclusions I had just erased several inflammatory pm's and emails regarding the fuse.

Thanks for your offer to help if we run into any snags I will send you an email.

You may have many years experience in the industry however, the molds that I am talking about are brand new and you probably have never seen them before. This type of mold will allow for a fiberglass fuse to be produced every 30 minutes with no distortion, twisting, no center seam and zero pinholes. This speed and quality cannot be achieved with a single conventional mold.

Again, guys why is there so much interest in the fuse? The two surveys I put up went for 90 days and there were less than 60 people interested in it. Why do you guys want the fuse now?

If you guys want me to start a new pole I will and depending on the number of replies I can push to get it produced.

XLFLYER,

You broke our hearts man!
Just kidding, I think since you posted this article there has been a considerable amount of people that joined the Forum, and also some that had already been flying for a while but when back to rappie 50's because of the lower cost and how decent it really flyes.

I guess people (Like me) got very excited about it, I just came across it only two weeks ago.

Let us know if your brother wants to go in to production, I think a lot of people will buy it.

PS: How often you monitor your posts? LOL

Tomasallan,

I had taken a brake from RR for about two months until 55crownvic gave me a phone call informing me about the two poles being at the top of the TT and Scale threads.

Do you guys want me to do a new pole? I can run one for a couple months and if there are between 200 to 300 replies I will push to get the canopy patented and get you guys some nice photos and a movie clip?

I have to agree with all these other guys. My best friend and I are realitively new to the heli world but long time r/c buffs. I have to say that the number one reason we are getting into heli's is for a Cobra model. My friend is an ex-Marine and he is one of about 40 I know. The Cobra is the one model we all want to detail out!

I'm not familiar with the scale size of your Cobra, but .30 or .60 either way, I'd be allllllll over one providing I'm impressed with the details and such!

Keep us posted and add another two to the thumbs up side of the room!
