I am building a century bell222 60 scale using xcell60st mechanics. Have a small problem and wanted to ask for ideas before i do some modifications.
This just relates to xcell with OS61sxh wc engine and Century's Scale Muffler. I cannot attach the muffler for 2 reasons.
1 the throttle arm sticks out to far
2 the metal side frame would need to be ground away to fit on engine.
My idea was to grind the throtle carburator rotor arm down about 10-15mm so the muffler would attach and not rub on the throttle lever with ball attached inward. I wanted to get some ideas before i try to shorten it up.
The frame i could probably get away by grinding down a little so the muffler would fit.
is there a header, shim, spacer, etc... that should be used and where can i get one. The muffler came with about a 2-3mm spacer and was going to use it, but even with that the exhaust would still rub the throttle.
Thanks for any new ideas or help
