What’s the best location and application for the antenna wire for Gas intrepid? Was thinking antenna tube along top of skids. Definitely want to get the best reception. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Yup, whip inside the canopy. This will keep it as far as possible from the plug and ignition system.

Cool deal, but

Just ordered the revolution whip. Where did you mount it exactly? Under front tray? Did you have to make a hole for the canopy through tip? Also how much do you recommend taking off the receiver wire for soldering?
Sorry so many?’s, I just fear the reception. Never used a whip before and I read many horror stories when I search for info on them.
Thanks

Follow the instructions for cutting the wire. I use Deans whips, I have for over twenty years. I have had them in 100" plus airplanes that were flown out of sight overhead. Have had them in many, many helicopters. In fact, I've never used anything but a whip in a heli. The Deans instructions recommend to cut to no less than 4". I mount mine with Velcro to the servo tray. I normally use a StrongBox for the receiver and battery. You should not poke the tip through the canopy. Keep it all inside, pointing forward. Do support the tip of the whip, so it doesnt vibrate to death. Don't fear the questions, as we all enjoy passing on our hard earned experience, in the hopes of saving someone else from disaster.

Many of the on-line shops. I've got them from HeliProz before. Do a search for Deans when you look.
