No need to go "Macaulay Culkin" on me, it's a good thing. The heli is being reassembled by the resident Synergy guru, Mr. King.

Hi all,

New guy here.. I just wanted to introduce myself. I started back in January with RF4.5. Bought my 250 in June and a 450 in July. I'll be at the field tomorrow and hope to see some people there. Take care.

Thanks, and indeed it does look like a sim day. Weather is foul(standard for this area). My 250 somehow developed a blade tracking issue during it's shipment back here so I guess I'll be hunting gremlins today.

I'm having so much trouble with my T-Rex 250. I replaced the main shaft, feathering shaft, mixer arms and blade grips trying to hunt down this odd tracking issue I'm having. I checked and rechecked my ball links to make sure everything was operating smooth. I got my blades pitched just right to +11/-11. Once satisfied, I got it put back together, went to spin up to check it out. It was looking great and then all of a sudden my brand new feathering shaft failed and sent my blades flying. Now I need ANOTHER main/feathering shaft and new blades.

Well, at least I have my 450 to work on..

How did your feathering shaft fail? Did a screw in the end strip?

No. It looks like it broke in a crash. I had it on a level surface and was slowly spinning it up and checking my tracking. Once I got to about 1/2way on the collective, one blade shot off and hit the wall and the other went right after it. The feathering shaft split about 1/3rd down from one end.

My 450 is just about good to go but I'm gonna bring it to the field and see if more experienced people would be willing to give it a once over before I even spool it up.
