Don't get in a hurry, wait and see if it woofs first, the majority don't!

The only time I suffered an attack of woof and auto oh I don't want to walk that far I'll hit the power and crash right there is when. I broke my Vortex blades doing autos so I tried to use the stock blades and while doing some stick banging 3 D the blades went out of track. I put on some V blades and have not had any problems since.

Have you tried flipping the head assembly over? (Blade grips, etc)That will reverse the current existing delta of the Raptor 30 v1, hence correcting the "woof and poof" syndrome.

I've read that doing the flip has cured woof and poof for some. IMO I feel that the only reason I had a problem was due to the stock blades. I had checked them for CG and weight, but I did not check them for chord wise balance. lesson learned. See Ya

Grips, flybar mixers, washout mixers and now positive pitch comes from downward swashplate movement...

so dont forget to reverse your servo else you will sit there revving the **** off it wondering why it wont take off only to see it go into orbit when you close the throttle

My converted rap 50 started woofin and got close to poofin even though I had a decent set of glass blades. The problem absolutely went away after I did the grip flip and it's easy to do. Run a seach on it here and you should find info with pictures.

Fix that Woof so you don't get the Poof!!!

You are just as well to take the entire head right off your bird. (most helpful if you have the instructions still) Completely disassemble it from the swash plate up. Then upon cleaning all parts like new, lubing and inspecting every little piece and part for safety. Take your instructions and go to the "Main rotor head assembly" and just reverse everything that has a left and right to right and left (Mirror image if you will) One thing you will have to do when you reverse your washout assembly and turn your washout linkages around is relieve a little bit of the plastic (carve a bit away with an exacto knife) right next to the pin so that it will hinge correctly with no binding of the linkage. (you will know exactly what I mean when you reverse the washout linkages and they do not have the full range of hinge that is needed) After all is reassembled and relieved look closely paying attention to the direction your blades turn versus pushrod push and pull stress etc. You will understand that there was an engineering flaw that is cured when you do so. I don't know,,,,,, they just must of missed it when it was being engineered. If you don't understand it, it doesn't matter, it works perfect and that all that matters.

I might be dumb, but I can lift heavy stuff.....
