I was just wondering, how has G2 helped your heli flying., It would be interesting to know in what ways it has helped or not helped you with your flying abilities....

G2 has done nothing for me! Now, Real Flight Deluxe has saved me a couple dozen rebuilds, so far.

I've used it some, but I feel the response of the models is far to sensitive (unlike the real thing). I use FMS and the sensitivity seems to better match real life. But to answer the question, yes, of course!

No it hasen't. I use Tru-Flite 3D because it supports my Multiplex Profi 4000 Tx. For the one other person in the heli world who flys with a MPX Tx try it.

NO! I am afraid that I am one of the few who cannot seem to translate the screen experience to real life. I no longer own a sim. I found myself practising in real life so I could go and try things on the sim! I'm not proud of myself, and keep thinking I should get another and try again, but I have owned and sold three sims now and would rather spend the money on helis and fuel.

I always try my new moves out on the sim first.. It give loads of confidence when I go to the field... It's not the crashing part for me that sucks.. It's waiting for the parts to get here in Germany that bothers me..
Oh well....
