Im using a new OS32 SX-H engine in a Sceadu & noticed that after every flight there is fuel everywhere. Im new to Helicopters so didnt think much of it until today when I was starting the engine & saw fuel spitting out of the join between head & barrel. After investigating I found the head screws were loose.

My question is can anybody think of a reason why this has happened or is it just a manufacturing error?
Also what torque sould I tighten them up to?

Thanks for any help.

did you preflight the motor after you pulled it from the box??? also sometimes if they are not tight from the start the law of expansion and contraction will loosen them.. what i do is make sure they are tight to start then when i land and the motor is WARM not HOT just ever so lightly snug them down maybe like 1/16 of a turn to be sure to much and you will be buying a new crankcase because you will strip it out if it is too hot. and they should be good to go but that should be a preflight item to include for future reference
