Haven't yet added a Hawk Sport to my stable but I'm looking at a couple of bodies to use on it. Could someone give me the measurements between the main shaft and the start of the tailrotor gearbox on the tailboom. Thanks...Bill

Yep

From the center of the main shaft to the rear of the tailrotor gearbox is 123 mm. Anything else drop me a line.

Mike: How about to the end of the tailboom at the begining of the tailrotor gearbox (so I will know how long the tailboom of the Body has to be)

Mike : Also could you please measure the distance in inches? 123 mm is only 4.8 inches and I think the hawk is longer than that.
Thanks Bill

Thanks Mike I really appreciate that. I'll have to go and measure up the bodies to see how they'll fit.

I have a Hughes 500D and a Jetranger/Longranger. The Jetranger has been flying on an old (green) Shuttle and I recall having to trim some off the tailboom to get it to fit the shuttle. Sure enough its about 3" too short for the Hawk so if I decide to use it I'll have to make an extension piece to lengthen the tailboom
