502 set to AVCS on all modes. Gain is 33 on control amp. On 9zWC2 it's set for 85 (gain1) and 15 (gain 2) on all modes. It holds the heading good. But I when I apply left rudder, I notice a little twitch?!!., then steady heading hold. I didn't notice any twitching when applying right rudder. All mixes are off. What could be causing this? The gyro is new. Any ideas, or brainstorm is welcome. Thanks.

Pull the pushrod off the servo arm. Carefully move the rod in the same direction as a left rudder command. See if you feel any binding. A bind can cause a twitch or jump. If that dosn't help, I'd swap out servos just as a quick check to rule that out.

I don't have my 502 anymore so I can't check but shouldn't the resulting gain be 70 when you have it set in the WC2 to either 85 or 15? Or did you change the ATV of the gyro channel?

Also I think that a gain of 33 on a 502 is a little low.
