hey guys,

I still have kits available for your Futaba governor to make your own optical sensor. The current kits ship with the improved OPB704 Shielded Sensor and required resistors and wiring schematics.

These kits contain primary parts to built two sensors and they're $15.00 shipped for the dual sensor kit. $16.00 for overseas. You have to supply a 3 lead servo wire long enough to go to your governor from the sensor mount. You mount the assembled sensor right on your original brackets.

If you want to read or see photos of the units, you can visit my website for details. http://www.helidriver.com and click on the Optical Sensor link at the bottom of the nav bar. Or you can go directly to the sensor information page: http://www.helidriver.com/OpticalSensor.html

one of the good guys to deal with, if you want to build the sensor this is the way to go. The 704 is more expensive than the 703 because of the small cover on it, the only difference. Thanks Ray, c-ya Ron

Please cancel my clearance, I have the field in sight. Got my RW Turbine Waiver, need lottery!

Raymond.. AKA...Raptor Driver is straight -up. The 704 sensor parts are very easy to assemble and the sensor works second to none. This is a very good product and idea, with a fair price to boot. Order a pair (unassembled) and you won't regret it.

Thanks again Raymond!

Hey John,

Glad you liked the sensors, great little devices aren't they?

Thanks for the kudos Ron! He's got'em already assembled if you aren't a builder..

Hey Pedro,

Won't you jump into that Lear Jet and fly back to FW and fly helis with me this weekend??? I PM you my cell phone call me when ya can.

Also, I'll have the GPS on the Fury Extreme tomorrow to do some benchmarking. I'm going to measure my max/avg. ground speed in FFF as well as my vertical ascent rates and max. altitude... damn GPS is too cool!

Get that X-Cell running and bring her out next time!

I can mail them to you or give them to you next time I see you at the field. (next weekend) weather permitting.
