If your idea of basics is inverted flight, backwards loops, loops, rolls I would like to see your advanced maneuvers.

In the real world that the rest of us live in basics means.

maybe nose in.

There I was thinking 3D meant I had to spend at least 3 thousand Dollars to be an expert pilot

3d

I for one can not do 3D but my opinion would be doing every thing you can in a rotine linking one after another to make one complete flight useing all of your skills would by 3D. Be it light 3d or very advanced stuff. Also staying in complete control. Thats what I like to watch people do any way. Thanks Richard

My version of 3D.

I think everybody has a different idea of what 3D is.

Some guys even consider forward loops and rolls to be 3D. On the flip side, some other guys will only consider any combined maneuvre to be 3D, like piro-flipping autos.

The way I see it. Helis have got to be better than planes. So any manuevre that a fully aerobatic plane cannot do, but the heli can. It's 3D.

Starting from the basic 3D. Inverted hovering, and any sideways or backwards flying. Also any piroetting flying, and funnels.

I know, you might say then hovering is 3D, Well I've got news for you. I can hover my plane prop sticking straight up .
