If any of you guys are headed down to Houston,TX bring your helis and come on out to Tom Bass Park. It's a 90% heli only club and on an average Sunday there is easily 40 helis there. We got ALOT of open space!

(Kalt Zeus w/CF frames in foreground...for sale(hint hint) )

Left to right that's me and Payton Jr(burgeoning pilot at 5 1/2), Steve M., Rick S and Ryan., Chad W., and Raymond L.

Furys

Payton,
You're not kidding about those lonely Fury's. I just hope they don't get withdrawl too bad. I promise to give them the attention they deserve this Sunday. Hope you are able to get your engine's bearings ready for Sunday. See ya!

Erich,
For some reason I have heard that name but have never meet Justin. There are ALOT of airfields in and around the Greater Houston area so he could be at another field. Maybe down at Johnston Space Center....

We have about 4 guys flying Robbe, bunch of X-Cell and TT, a few Century 50s now, and of couse Hirobo. The JR and Kyosho brands are pretty dormant right now. Except for Chad and Dennis's Vigor CSs.

Our club is REALLY maturing now. We are growing and getting organized finally. I see a good size FF coming to Tom Bass in the near future!

Chad,
Not looking good. I sent the OS .50 SX-H off to Hobby Services on Monday. I'm down for at least this weekend since I am still waiting on the Predator Max and down to one bird!

May come out and get Payton Jr back in the air with the Zagi and watch the action!!

Mike,
All the Raptor guys were on the other side of the field.

Just joking, there's always a bunch of Rappys in the air at anytime here.

Daz,
Yeah, to bad we didn't have all the Fury's, Robbe's, and the like out there. Most of the guys were packing up and going home when we lined them up.

What I think is funny though is what we are all wearing! It was at least 75 degrees Sunday(3/9/03)!!

Hirobo has really made it in Finland, hasnt they?

From the few personal websites I found from Finland - written in English there looks to be a "popular" brand.

Isnt it that they´re the "only" brand in Finland? Kyosho SlotCar is distributor for Finland also and so on?

There is only one shop selling heli stuff in any quantity here, Atala in Tampere. They sell Hirobo.

Kyosho is available, and I bought my Nexus from Atala a few years back, but rarely seen. When I took my Concept over to a club field in Lahti, the experts thought the head was broken, they'd never seen a flapping head before
