That guy has a great site, I spent hours looking over all the antique tubes(valves) he had on there when I first found it a few years ago. People like that inspired me in my hobbies and experiements/fun with high energy discharges, lasers, and other geekery.

It's funny, modern electronics is great and I have a real passion for it... but building stuff all those years ago with large and exotic hot valves (tubes), high voltages, and components soldered between tag strips must have been so much fun!

It could be done... but you'd probably have to have build it into a full-size heli in order to get it airborn!
