anyone out there know why i keep reading articles about two different size varios.
one says ec 135 has no working doors and is 1420 long with rotor dia 1500mm and varios catalogue has one 1740 long and rotor dia 1680 with working doors.
i really prefer the later model as i want doors and the bigger model for scale
take care good people

My 2002 Vario catalogue (don't think there is a 2003 yet) has two EC135s, kit number 1330 at 1740mm long for X-Treme mechanics and No. 1340, same size but for gas turbine. No smaller ones.

EC135

Actually there is three sizes the original for skyfox with 1500 rotor dia, the newer for the X-Treme and of course the one we all want the turbine

Actually, Vario has discontinued the small one, and the new one with the opening doors is the same one for Extreme or Turbine.

hey James!!!
Fantastic. Turbine way out of my budget, but perhaps a general chat about building, details, and advice, etc.
Your mate is certainly in the know, so i can get loads of hints on the build,

You,re a good man.

cheers
