Here are some shots of my Raven Max. Figured I would stay in line with the "Max" naming idea of Century since this one is almost TOTALLY upgraded. The only upgrades left out are the CF boom and CNC Bell Mixers.

It's got:
1) Carbon Fiber frame set
2) Carbon Fiber tail pushrod
3) Carbon Fiber boom supports
4) Mr. Carbon X-Cell 60 CF fin set
5) RotorTech 92mm Tail blades
6) RotorTech 600mm CF mains(best 600s I have flown!)
7) CNC Headbutton
8) CNC Throttle Arm extension
9) Constant Drive Upgrade
10) Century Rear Servo Mount
11) CNC CCPM servo arm set
12) CNC Pitch fork
13) Century Boom Support Brace
14) MA White "3D" 4mm paddles

Now, these are cute and all but I need some inverted shots. The kicker is the last time I tried to get some Pleskini and I were maidening this sucker and I got ready to flip her over and forgot to flip to Idle Up. Yup....down she came from about 20' right on the side. So, as soon as we can try it again I'll post back some low invert shots.

Soooooo, what do you think?

Naa, it's just a SE.
To make it a 'Max' you need to stuff a .60 in it :-)

Just kidding, looks nice.

Hey Lift,

Ssssooo, with all that Carbon fiber, what's your all up weight? How about carbon fiber servo brackets for the eCCPM too? heh

forget that, how about some push/pull arms like on the predator... that would be nice.

Jimmy,
Well, with all the paint on the canopy the weight is traded off at 7lbs 7ozs(weighed with digital scale).

Indrid,
I am ALL for a push-pull system on the Raven. In fact, the Raven is kinda cheesy when it comes to the CCPM layout. It is an ad hoc approach but it sure flies killer! Knowing Century, it's just a matter of time before they redesign these upper frames to a whole new layout. It just HAS to be!(HELLO Century!....is anyone listening???) If they do I could see a CCPM layout similar to what the Predator has.

its really not hard, you could simply make a stacked servo setup in front with aluminum plates and then put a set of push pull ball bearing levers right below the swash... plus, it could solve the tail heaviness on the raven some people have.

Jeff,
They are nice! If you like the look of CF as much as I do then get them. But, don't think they are gonna make the machine perform better or anything. They just look purty!

FYI, they do remove the possiblity of cracking the lower metal frames which you can do if you have some ruff landings. A ruff landing will create a weakening in the bend near the landing struts and then vibrations will make a crack run down the bend. You can alleviate this with a metal crossbrace(Alexander's idea) between the lower frames where the boom supports bolt up.

But, if you get the CF frames then you don't have to worry about it!
