Has anyone put this on a Raptor 50, and if so how hard was it?

according to funkey, it should fit and all you have to do is cut the pitch arm.

hey dude

i sized up a raptor in the airwolf and
you will have to do more than cut the
pitch arm. the top cowling will have to
have an opening to clear the rest of
the pitch arm. although the raptor is a
kick a$$ flying machine, it is not the
most fuselage friendly heli. so far the
only fuses the rappy lends itself to
with little or no mods is funkey's 46
size longranger and agusta 109. that
pesky pitch arm seems to compromise the
appearance up in that front area. i
traded mine for two nexus (or is that
nexei ) so i could build another scale ship. t.t has a jet ranger/longranger fuse for it and you can see where the made the space on the top fairing to clear the pitch arm. it doesnt look quite right but it works. if you are willing to accept the hole up top, then it wont have any trouble fitting into the airwolf. my gallery has my funkey airwolf with one of the nexus inside

Copter Doctor, I see in your photos you have some pics of the full size Airwolf. Do you have any more? Or where can I get more. I have just put a Caliber 5 into a funkey Airwolf. Not a bad conversion but a little tight. Test flew yesterday and ironed out a few bugs so now I would like to throw on some more detail.
Also, as this is my first big scale heli (I have 3 small electric, H300, H500, 222) I would like to know how much on an issue vibration is. I found that the Airwolf shook badly at a low head speed while spooling up. I got rid of some of it by chainging blade tension but its still bad. I have put on some different min/tail blades to see if perhaps they were out of ballance (they seemed fine before the chassis went into the fuse) but havent had a chance to try it yet. The std retracts seem very flexable and may be making it worse so I am looking at making them stiffer. And other ideas?
In the air it is awesome! Very smooth and stable and retains its energy very well. Looks the part too.

ripmosher beat me to it, there ya go. the vibration thing is common with these machines beacause the gear isnt as rigid as kids for the most part and they do not absorb very much shock. my wolf never vibrated at all thanks to the shock absorbing struts on the gear. the blade tightness does help if it is correctly adjusted.
