The instuctions just dont cut it or I aint the brightest bulb on the block..How can you tell forward bacward cyclic and side to side cyclic by looking at the swashplate??Any help understanding this will be appreciated ..

To tell which way things go look at the swashplate from the back of the helicopter, so now on your transmitter push the elevater stick forward and the swashplate should tilt forward, pull back and the swashplate will tilt back.
Same goes with side to side cyclic, push the stick left and the swashplate will tilt left, push right and the swashplate will tilt right.

Am setting up a C30 at the moment but with a JR 378 radio, so are you setting the C30 up for Collective Cyclic Pitch Mixing (CCPM) or Normal?

Hope some of this helps anyway!

Iain

If the servo tray is fixed you are in CCPM mode, and should be using that on your radio.

If the servo tray moves you are in normal mode, and should use that on the radio.

Make sure that the swashplate is completely square, using the washout to adjust it. (Eg. ball links line up with each other)

Also make sure you are using the right holes in the side on the helicopter for your mode. These are the holes for the bell cranks. Memory serves, it is the forward most for standard mixing and the rear hole for the CCPM.
