After being with the older xcells, I've managed to now own a Fury expert. To my surprise---I need a new hex adapter (my old xcells use a cone start). But the biggie is I can't use any of my glow driver Arrggghhhh!!!! I have to have a remote glow starter? Now I have to make some changes to my field equipments....Oh well. Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I use a long glow starter. You do not need a remote style.

The hex adapter seems like the way to go these days.

Long shank glow adapter's are readily available at the hobby store, as is the proper Minair one-way start shaft that needs no adapter on the heli.

I fly with you at the Las Vegas field. Just use a long glow driver (remote or plugged into your power panel) and the MA flex starter.

I do use two starters....one for the Extreme and the other for the Calibre 30. I use the same glow driver on both.

I could have used just one starter, but I wanted to buy a new one anyway, as the older one is 15 years old.

I'd like to see your Fury.

Take care.

I also use a long glow driver, and have also converted mine to a hex start system. MA makes the addaptor for that heli, and it works quite well. I can't remember the part number. But if need be I can look it up for you. I have 5 helis, and prefferd that they all used the same system to start. Has worked out great for me.

Enjoy the Fury. They are sweet!

Build it, fly it, crash it. Repeat as often as needed.

Yes, I ordered a hex adapter for my older xcell custom. That way I only have one start system. And found a long glow driver to work with the fury. Thanks a lot for the quick reply everybody.
