just installed a torque tube on my hawk IV and man what a difference. the tail is rock steady. no more wind up problems. it was quite a job to install it, i almost had to disassemble the main mechanics but it gave me a chance to go over the heli. i wasn't sure if i should buy one after reading all the posts on them saying it wasn't neccessary and would cost alot to replace. but glad i did. also if i do crash i'm hoping only the carbon fiber tube will shear in which case i could drill out the old one from the dog bones and replace it with a c/f archery arrow. which is what the previous owner who i bought the torque tube from, here on runryder, did and told me it was "NIB". buyer beware!
but at least it was cheap
