Someone can help me to set the gy 502 gyro, because on my Freya the tail with this gyro and the 9253 servo is not locked, but it move a little left and right, as an oscillation.
Thanks to all

Useless?

That GY502 is twice the gyro that the 401 is dude! It has almost 2 times the frame rate and holds a lot better than the 401 too! You just don't have it set up right. Watch that your gain is not set to high dude, sounds like you might have it set a little high. I used the 502 on my Sceadu and it was way better than the 401 and held the tail rock solid in FFF and FRF with no problem. Vheck your settings again. Use the ATV to set your piro rate.

Alive and Tocking!

502

I know more people that use 401 and 601 and only a few uninformed buyers who use 502

I agree with Noxam, The 502 is much more gyro than the 401, holds better doesn't have the bad habits that the 401 does, ie. slow piro rate and bad control in piro autos. The 502 is only a very small step down from the 601, keep it, just work on your setup.

It's a good gyro, for sure, read your manual.... is so easy ... more than 401 because the display..... check your gain..... if you have 9253 use high frame rate and a gain around 75 or 80.... ir you are using a normal servo go for 40 gain, then you can start to modify your rates.....
check your screen and avoid vibs....

I have both 401 and 502.... always 502..... of course if you think on 601....everything is away from the lastone

I have found on my xcell's and Fury that the gain always ends up between 30 and 40 percent with the 9253 and the 502, if I go much higher than this, the tail wags during inverted FFF.

Most people choose the 401 or 601 because they come with a digi servo , which makes the overall purchase of a gyro and servo cheaper ,
The Gy502 will outshine most other brands , this is a fact Mate !!!
