Hi V-Blade flyers,

I've got more orders for my Recycled V-paddles than I have blades to make them out of. Show/Tell me what you've got and I'll make you an offer! (A free set of paddles for you or cash).

We spoke a while ago about this.
I now have 3 3/4 blades just missing the tips with the weights.
I will send you all 3 blades if you make me a set or so.
Whats your address and I will get them out to you.

1UP,

Currently, I can only use V-Blades as they've got the hardwood LE area. Other brands are foam cored, or hollow (MS), and can't support the flybar. Most guys want the 3-D Paddles which come from the inner half of the blade (no internal weighting). The "Tips" look nice, and perform well, but are harder to get. (usually get destroyed in the crash!)

I'm also working on a plastic root reinforcement that may allow me to use other brands too, but I've not flown it to try it out yet.

rockcrawler,

I'll make you a set of paddles- no problem!
send your pieces to:

I have a buddy that unfortunatly has craped out a pair just this weekend. He boom struck, and actually the blades never actually flew appart. They are still in one piece. But however are unuseable. Part of the trailing edge split open on both blades. We discussed you makeing him a set of paddles right after it happened. So I will see if he can send you his blades for a set, and you keep the rest of the blades. Or something like that. They are V2's if that matters. Actually I broke a set almost just like them. But mine were in about 6 pieces, and were tore all to hell. So I doubt you could use them. Man does that suck. And I loved those blades. Vic, are you listening???????????

Build it, fly it, crash it. Repeat as often as needed.

YSRRider,

My paddles perform very much like genuine V-Paddles. They're large and light so they're very responsive but have a nice, round LE so they're not pitchy in FFF (unlike plastic paddles that are usually pretty sharp at the LE.)

Without flybar weights; I think they make the heli feel a little "loose" in the hover so, I add weights and adjust them out to just get rid of the "looseness". At this point, cyclic response is still pretty crisp.
Keep moving the weights out, towards the paddles, and they become VERY stable in the hover and somewhat restrictive in aerobatics. This makes them ideal for beginners as you can have the cool carbon look without "hyper" performance.

V-Paddles (whether Vic's or my recycled ones) fly great!
