great built

what is your final weight and flying time ? What lipos pack are you finaly using ?

For my Airwolf built, I am hesitating between :

- fuse: The Century 50 Airwolf (135 cm long) or the "small" Vario which is bigger (150cm long)

- mechanic: the Logo 24 streached or the VARIO Silence (150cm diameter rotor)

what do you think ?

PS : Since it looks you have too much power with your logo 24, may be it could be put inside the Vario fuse that is bigger than the century fuse (and still weight only 1 kg) ?

thanks a lot for the advices

"total weight of the bird"

About 12 lbs

"what lipos pack"

I use two type of packs (1) 10S4P LiPo 8000 = flight time of 14-15 min (2) 10S2P A123 4600 = flight time of 10-12 min

The Logo 24 work great in the 90 size Funkey Jet Ranger... Looks great and fly great...

The Logo 24 stretched to 700mm is a workhouse for scale application....

I also put a Logo 24 into an Agusta 109... This is probably similar to the airwolf...

How the heck are you getting 10-12 minutes with a 12lb heli on 10s1p A123 pack??? I fly a Swift 16 which doesn't weigh half that much on the same 10s1p A123 pack and never get more than 7 minutes of mild flying circuits. Either I am doing something really wrong or you need to get a new stop watch. Totally confused even after Appling Ohm,s law.

Hi Hoverup...

Ops... I am using A123 in a 10S2P configuration... They consist of 2 x 5s2P packs in series... I don't charge to 100% and not tested flight time to soft cut-out...

Seems to be reasonably efficient, the battery barely gets warm and the NEU motor temp ranges from 145 - 150 degrees...

Top battery TP 5S4P 8000 (4 year old batteries)
Bottom battery A123 5S2P 4600
