Too hard to please so dont break a sweat over it.

For the Love of God will you please quit quoting people
and just fly.
It is 5:30 AM and pitch black and illegal to fly at night outside of registered rc airfeild.
You will probably find a lot of what we say to be true
if you actually start working in the industry.
Well it doesnt sound like you are, your still here typing and not flying.

respect, it is contagious.....................

Yea, but I bet he is sitting at his desk, at the business he own, availing himself to those who call looking for information on systems that he sells and designs.

He too has been an increadible asset to this forum.

I think what we are looking for is an enviornment where we all can share without the fear of having to spend half of the day responding to blind, unfocused, unconstructive critisism.

Ironic enough those who we could really learn from are not the type of people who have the time or desire to respond to "little jimmy's" remarks about something that he is quick to hypothisize about, as they/he usually has little or no experience at all in actually doing, but is quick to point out that "He imagines there has to be a better way."

Something about the value of their time.

I can remember seeing several videos and pictures that John has shot, I have enjoyed they all.

No offensive, but when I see your name on a thread. I almost assume it is a quote and your response to it. That is great but lets see some photos. We don't care if they are the best or the poorest or somewhere inbetween, just share them. I would hope that others would treat you with the same respect that we would like to be shared by all.

The funny thing is, I am sure that if we all me face to face and shared a sixpack, or a thousand and six of them, we would all hit it off like long lost buddies? Lets use our imagination, and try to be constructive.

Thanks, Flyboy

I think that we can all see the logic in your statement. But let's not resort to standards less that what we expect of others.

No use pouring fuel on the fire, however the heat from the flames sure does feel nice.

Lets just all get along and work (to a reasonable effort) to create an environment wher we all can share, learn, and enjoy from others.

I can beat the moral drum because I have yet to be slammed myself! (not asking for)

But believe me when I say "I know what you mean & how you feel."

"A person with a small bag of offerings/skills will run out of productive contributions quickly. Then what else can they offer?"

Would you look at that, Lunch is almost over and it's time to fly again. I'm off for now. Catch you all later.

When we get the chance to meet, the first beer is on me.
Your friend,

Thanks, Flyboy

Um....FlyBOY...

That was a picture with wind induced vibration because I was hanging off a PentHouse roof(18 floors) in Florida to get that pic.I wasn't really trying to knock his photos just was trying to figure out why someone with such a business that he would post the low res of the lot.The pictures taken behind him on the roof were great. If you guys are so successful at this then why is it you have time to cross reply a person while he is at work?Everyone has a right to an open opinion and this is what this forum is about.Instead of snapping back at a person for a comment, offer an explanation for the Photos that person has called CRAP!Flytoy, I mean FlyBOY look up and notice that an explanation was given for which I responded. If you are gonna back a friend, START FROM THE BEGINNING....

Who knows what gave any of you the idea I enjoy doing professional grade work and never having a chance of a full time work, that I need to be insulted as unprofessional and unskilled merely because I lack full time work the same as every other operator in Aus.

But the fact remains no matter how this is justified by me you still seek to harp on the orignal mistaken claims ignoring the justification as to why there is no full time work in Aus for heli cams.

It seems you Flyboy have decided to stick your hand in between John and I.
If we where dogs you would accept the outcome of shoving your hand in and getting your finger bitten off.
You are going a long way to cover John.
Way out on a limb to the point you are prepared to burn bridges.

I smell a rat here.

We need to set some records straight so new entrants to this hobby seeking returns are fully informed of the actual market.

Needs a new topic heading I think.

UUUUMMMM,
What happened to this thread being about Bob's Chicago job?

C'mon folks!!!
I see more petty bickering going on in this aerial photo forum than any other.

I thought you were all claiming to be professionals!

Bob posted some photos taken at great effort and his thread has degraded to something that has very little to do with aerial photography, much less to do with Bob's (to be applauded) efforts.

Keep up the great work Bob!
Nice photos!

Nervous.....

Flyboy,
This last job was not to bad, we flew from the 18th floor roof and all buildings around us were notified by security and chicago's finest was on hand, plus we were so high up, no one really noticed us, so it was,nt so bad, now last time when i flew from michigan ave and upper Illinois ave off the ground , that was a different story!
I was just trying to let this thread die down.......
