Nope one step at a time Im gonna build this one slow and build it right I want a show piece from this one. But the guns and landing gear are next on the list. I just got the fuse on and made 2 pins to hold it on the 2 sided fiber frame made it easy to run CF rod through to hold it.

How long have you had this body? Ive long since updated the body. You must have had this for quite some time or this is a clone body. HBK2 Heli ?
Heres a pic of the updated body, landing gear also available too.

Got it from someone on here whos had it as long as I had the jet ranger. It came with the same instructions I got with the jet ranger your name all over it dont think its a clone? As for the gear I'm gonna do an aluminum gear. the idea is to make it look like the thunder tiger MD530. I apologize if I got a clone as I would never of purposely done this I would of bought from you personally as I did last time.

Older body style

I picked the fuse up a while ago back when the Stingerbee was still around unopened in the bag but it had been collecting dust when I got it. The instructions were in the sealed bag. It's just an old fuse of yours Darth that has changed quite a few hands and finally found a home

With all the scale talk lately I figured I would revive this thread I'm rebuilding my King now and patiently waiting for fuse prices to drop and then I'm jumping on this http://www.bphobbies.com/view.asp?i...58&pid=B3364980

That 222 is for the Belt Cp not the King2. The wheels look to big on it.

Darth:

How much bigger is a Belt-CP or other 450 fuse when compared to a fuse for a King 2?

The critical measurements is the distance from the mainshaft to the tailrotor shaft.
The belt cp is 17 inches
The King2 is 14-1/4 inches

I know it, my King is stretched out to 450 size I'm thinking I might go another route since those wheels don't retract and I'm not trying to make some up I don't want to do another 500E so I'm kinda looking for something different that won't require me to do an elevated tail. Hey Darth you got anything off the wall kicking around the shop?

I'm still itching to do another Airwolf fuse. Hey Darth, how hard is it to setup retracts on your fuse and sturdy are they?

I do have in the instructions a diagram to make a set of retracts.
You'll need some plywood, 3/32 wire, wheel collars, brass tubing, a couple landing gear straps, servo arms, servo and wheels to make a set of retracts. Its pretty simple to make. They work fine. I have a set on my bell 222. They are pretty sturdy. Heres a pic of my Bell 222 with a king2 chassis 315mm blades and a 450 size motor 2200 3s battery, Electric tail motor, and it flys fine as frog hair.
