Good for you. I hope you have a whole lot more years to fly helis and will certainly pray for you. For the rest of you all, it's so easy to mark on your driver's licenses that you're wiling to be a donor. You don't need those parts when you're gone and they really can save someone else's life. steve.

We just had a close family member 26 years old get a liver transplant. I know what you are going through. Heal well and enjoy your second birthday.

Hey Edward,

Congrats! It's a great feeling isn't it? No more dialysis, etc.

I had a simultaneous kidney/pancreas transplant 5 years ago. Once you get tapered off the Prednisone, and the anti-rejection meds are figured out it's great.

Best of luck to you!

Cheers, Shayne

I just got my licence renewed in Oct, And for the first time
I checked the donor option and got a red heart on the front
of my licence so that's set, I figure what the heck I won't need
the parts when I'm gone for whatever reason!
