Castle will fix it for you.

They might do it for free but since you're not the original buyer they're under no obligation to do so.

They'll charge you a flat rate of something like 90 bucks if they do charge you.

If you can solder do it yourself. the last time I sent one back it was almost 3 months before i got it back. The service dept at Castle stays pretty busy with HV controllers.

I sent one of my CC PH HV45amps back to Castlecreations for repair a month ago , it took 7 days to get it back.. they charged me $55 to repair it , it looked like a brand new one when I got it back, they put new wires all around , new package everything, it looked like a brand new one!!
I am very happy with their service!!

I had the same issue with hv85. It's a burnt mosfet. that's why it heated up also. Yes I sent it out and received a new one for a fee.
In the mean time I bought hv110 and it was heating as well, I am yet to send it out.

Thanks guys.
I wonder how many people had same burnt mosfet problem.
I think this is component failure (Defective).
I know castle service is excellent but they should RECALL bad batch of HV ESC if they know mosfet problem.
Any thought??

Last I herd they were working on a firm ware update for the 110. Same for the bec on 6s. Lucky for me mine works fine on 6s to start, I have not flown my new heli yet. But funny thing is the non hv125 works fine.

Castle's service is second to none.

They have unfortunately had many problems with the HV series and they still after 2 years haven't gotten them all ironed out.

I have a couple of HV 85s and a 110.

Both 85s were some of the first and have been back at least 5 times each and been repaired or replaced each time. They're both working well now but it's been a real PITA to send deal with it.

I have an older PH 80 that has never been troublesome after they finally came with the PH link and fixed the initial firmware issues it came with.

Of coures I want my 110HV fixed or replaced somehow....
But more important thing is...
I want nobody waste money or have injured by critical ESC failure!!
This hobby should be safe and fun.
They should realize how it's important and dangerous this issue is.
