I have a Raptor 90SE. It has worked great for two and 1/2 years, but today It started to make a noise, I continued flying ( My mistake) and suddenly it locked. luckily I did not have it in an awkward position and I could auto after it came out of the lock out.
My question is: Have you had problems with the clutch liner coming loose?
That is what I found out when I put it apart, I was thinking that I had a bad bearing, but the clutch liner loose and it was like a 1mm out of the clutch bell. Perhaps with age the epoxy gave up. I don't know.
Please let me know.

Two and a half years is a long time to be fying on the same clutch liner, it is very possible that the epoxy gave up. When you pulled it apart, did you see if the epoxy could be scraped out of the bell easily, if it flakes out then just maybe that was the problem.

You are right. I think the epoxy gave up. What ever was left of it was easy to remove.

I don't see what you mean by 'locked' and how a loose clutch liner would cause that?
If anything, a loose liner would cause a slipping engine, and even that I don't believe as the clutch would firmly press the loose liner in place as long as you keep flying. Only when you do an auto the liner might fall out and after that you can't spin up anymore?
