Ok guys, for those engine gurus out there I have another dreaded "where the hell did this part come from" question. I was washing the 50 hyper (minus the piston, piston rod and back plate) in an ice cream container of fuel and when I took it out, low and behold there was a small black washer about 5mm in diameter left at the bottom. It is a split washer and on the exploded view of the OS hyper I can't see a home for it =(

Any ideas?

Will get one tonight - sorry. Best I can do is a crap description. There are not many parts to a hyper and I can't see a place for it. I am wondering if it has fallen off something else.

Is it the one that goes under the carb? I'm not talking about the "o" ring. I mean the one that goes down inside the hole that that carb sits on top of...

Hell... I can fix that.
Uh oh..
Nope.
It's ***ked!!!
RE-KIT!!!!!

that isnt a split washer... it should be a solid ring... the only washers i know of is one for the screw that holds the carb tight, or maybe a muffler washer. but 5mm is a little to big for that.... take a closer look at it... it could be the washer under the carb and just got split somehow

And Wolfejohne takes the prize. Thanks guys, I am such a dumb ass, the muffler washer must have stuck to the side of the engine case out of view.

Cheers
