I've had my XRB Shuttle for about 5 month now. It has it's problems, but normally it flys fairly well. I had to change my blades out, here recently, I went through the balancing of the blades ect., but I've got this wobble going on. Is there anyone familar enough with the xrb to pin point what might be the problem?

Is there a screw at the top of the mast, retaining the "weight bar"?

If there is, and it's loose, that can cause it.

Also, did you crash?

Is your mast slightly bent?

I've got styrofoam blades, and yes I did bump my pool table slightly, just enough to brake my one of my lower blades. I have checked all the screws etc. and the tracking looks pretty good.

Do you know how to evaluate for a bent shaft?

No, Mike I do not know how to evaluate for a bent shaft, but it looks pretty good. I just flew it again and it will actually fly good for 3 to 4 sec. and the start the wobble back. I fly in my basement and have not really smashed it up hard since I've had it. The last time it did it my control arm had come off of my fly bar.

Thanks Mike and the rest of you guys. I'll get it, but it means some more tinkering around, which equates to flight time lost. Planning on stepping up to the Trex 450 for Christmas, so I might be calling on you guys again. Thanks again Max

ive had the same problem once before , i didnt bother to balance blades when i got wobble i just rechanged blades i now fly mine on carbons . try changing blades again if same happens its possibbly your shaft from the crash (with styro blades it shouldnt damage shaft though thats the reason they use them) did your flybar come off in the crash ?

No Hollycopter, fly bar did not come off and, as I said before, I've been lucky and have not had any hard crashes with it. I've got my skills up enough now to fly it even with the wobble now. I would not attempt to fly it in a 4 ft. wide area, but I can manage until I find out just what is causing the wobble. Thanks Hollycopter
