Ammunition and weapons of any type are no longer permitted to be listed or sold on the eBay. Fear that the sheep might sue or create bad press. Because we all know the criminal is not to blame for criminal actions. It must be the weapon.
All types of firearms, ammunition and weapons, and knives of any type and description are not permitted to be listed or sold on the eBay site. This includes all firearms, ammunition and weapons the sale of which is prohibited under the Arms Act, 1959 or any other applicable law. It also includes all sporting, collectable, curio & relic, replica or imitation, and antique firearms, ammunition, weapons and knives regardless of their capability to fire a shot.

Any military item, uniform (replica or genuine) or embroidered patch that is currently being used by any nation's defence force in current activity or conflict will NOT be permitted to be listed on eBay. This prohibition further extends to any item that may be classified as a war trophy. The ending of these items will be at eBay's discretion.

Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:

Listing or Want It Now post cancellation

Forfeit of eBay fees on cancelled listings

Limits placed on account privileges

Loss of PowerSeller status

Account suspension

i listed an air arms 410 rifle stock on ebay only for it to be removed (3 times) and threatend with suspension (for listing a lump of wood) they seem to be clamping down on gun parts . if i list an item in the hunting section on ebay i can sign into my wifes account and search for it , it does not become available for sale for at least 2 hours they check every listing i used to buy and sell air rifles and ebay used to be a good source but now its crap unless you want some camo shorts etc

Opportunity is knocking for someone to start up a guns and ammo EBay type site. Just a thought. Although it seems like there should already be one?

Do feel so badly.

I'm paying a guy whom loads for me $10 a round, for my .50 cal rifles.

I bought 6000 rounds .

Dakine - dude! I thought commiefornicationia woould have banned nasty guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens by now!

Of course we in the UK have no such thing as semi auto firearms in our houses, or worse still, concealed carry permits. I "think" we are still allowed black powder, muzzle loaders and shotguns with no more than 2-round magazines (1 in the pipe for 3-round capacity). Desert Eagles or any other semi-autos have been banned for decades.............. and look where that's got the UK now. Still plenty of shootings in a year

Can't even sell airsoft stuff on ebay especially since the Violent Crime Reduction Act came in in October. Lets ban the importation of realistic imitation guns, lest a police armed response officer shoots an "innocent" person. Excuse me - they ain't innocent if they're using a replica let alone an illegal real steel weapon to threaten other member of the public...

"commiefornicationia" LOL good one

they have banned the sales on new .50 cals, but they know better than to try and confiscate the ones that are already out there.

naa, more like the threat of scumbag lawyers

"do process" , personal property and that darn pesky Constitution

they do like to ignore parts of it but cops going door to door would probably generate a bit more heat than they would like

Lead ammunition is supposed to be totally phased out of the military by 2008 so lead prices should not be an issue. Military is now using a nylon hybrid core.

About ebay I'm shocked see no knives on the list. Or are they just talking about bayonets?

Also you can always come to florida and visit one of the many legendary Gun Shows. Their famously slack on the rules.
