I have never owned a Walkera.

Mostly because they are known to have disapointing quality.

I could be wrong, but I'm guessing you need an E Sky Lama.

Go to Helidirect

They cost about $100.

You get:

Heli
Radio
Battery
Charger

It's ready to fly. RTF

Good luck

Yup it is not good quality, but if you can get it for cheep enough you can have hour of fun. Payed $75 for mine, up grade the batteries another $50, have some fun.

Hard job competing with gravity.

ok, I will buy ESKY LAMA V4, is it really better than Walkera 4-1 ? Some people o other forum write to WALKERA this:
This helicopter is a great starting point for anyone wanting to learn to fly.
It is a tough little bird, it is not indestructable, although damn close to it.

Most of us @ RR would agree that E Sky "Lama Company", is MUCH better than Walkera.

That Walkera is not a coax type heli.

Most people start with a coax type like the Lama.

I think you will like the Lama.

It was my first heli.

I'm glad I have it.

I've enjoyed my Lama V3 tremendously. It's even survived a rainy night outdoors. (don't ask how that happen)

My flatmate bought a Walkera #4. It was nearly indestructible, which was just as well because it seemed incapable of controlled flight. Ended up on Ebay.

K

A bit like a kite, but 500 times more expensive

My very first heli was a walkera # 4 and the electronics are junk. go with a coaxial but if you set on this style, go with blade cp, hummingbird, etc... or any company other than walkera. I had never even touched a sim, plane, heli, or any other rc gadget before getting this heli ( I learned the hard way) the instructions that were with it were for a different mode controller than what they gave me....WOW THIS MADE FOR A VERY INTERESTING FIRST HOVER/CRASH!!!!

I got a Walkers # 4.
If you were close by you could have mine for next to nothing
cause thats basically what it's worth. It needs a reciever
and a servo, total cost about $50-60 for a chopper that was
$88,00 new, but! it got me hooked so i guess it served it's purpose.
