Today I went to the field to fly my nitro sport for the first time, as soon as the heli lifted off it started to piro really fast. I thought perhaps I need to reverse the GY611 so after doing that I again started the heli and as soon as it barely got off the ground, it again started to piro This is my third GY611, the other two being in my raptors. Till now I've had no problems setting up these gyros. I even set the gain to 31 since on JK's website he says to keep it between 30 to 32. One thing I noticed that when I turn the nose of the heli to the left or right to check gyro direction, the servo doesn't move at all I'd be grateful if any of u guys can help out since I'm really keen to get this bird in the air.

I had one gradually do the same thing over time. Started with a tail wag, then got more pronounced until it ended up with a rapid piro on take off. Send it back to Futaba.

I had a 611 sensor that the wires were disconnected internally from day one, wiggle the lead at the sensor see if the servo twitches, or take the case off and look inside. I sent mine back and it was replaced.

Make sure your tail rotor is spinning the right direction.

Make sure you when you give right rudder the blades are changing pitch to push the tail left.

Make sure when you pick it up and turn the nose left the gyro does the same thing that right stick does.

Have a fresh set of eyes look it over, after messing with things for a while sometimes we see what we expect and not whats actually happening.

Exact same problem with my 611; unbelievable how this pricey gyro can have so many problems right out of the box!
