On my E version I have 9252s on 6v. 250 flights on her. I did destroy a servo. But I did crash it. They work pretty good. Now to get some new packs for spring...mine are toasted.

As long as they arent hooked to a governor or gyro that cranks up the frame rate they seem to be fine.

It's 9255's that aren't supposed to be run at 6 volts, but saying that most people running regulated 6 volt regulated supplies aren't having issues. I run all my servos at 5.8 volts via the Align 2 in 1 without issues (including 9256 tail servo).

Futaba still quote specs based on old battery technology and i wouldn't recommend anyone run most of these servos on a 6 volt ( 5 cell) NiCad or NiMh pack as the peak voltages off charge are nearly 7.5 volts.
